I feel like Bush hasn't done enough...the Clean Air act was a crock...I believe Kerry made some interesting points about what can be and needs to be done...however, I think the responsibilities for a safer environment really falls on the citizens...keep exhausts in check...figure out a purer way to keep the plants running, more efficiently, recycle, and walk when you can  |

Ya I think Dick Cheney has a very bad position, compared to John Kerry's. Bush's on the other hand isn't as bad as Dick's, because he at least has some conscience. |

i bet this is one position bush wrestles with dick cheney over. Kinda like the gay marriage thing. Bush and cheney differ on that position too. Although since he's the president, Bush is on top of Dick Cheney on that position. Only because he's the president though. Lets thank God Bush is the president and he's on top of Dick Cheney. |

On the contrary. The environment has been last priority to this LEGISLATION as a whole. That bothers me DEEPLY!!! Probably more then anyone could possibly know. I am very pro environment. Anyone who damages our earth makes me so FURIOUS!!! Once upon a time I was going to preserve a carrer in Forrestry.. Does that help you out R1 on my position....(-: |

mother it sure does. Dick Cheney really isn't as deep into the environment as you are at all, and either is Bush. But it's understandable that Bush isn't as deep into it, since he's got himself around a lot of things now, (terrorism, economy). |

Democrats tend to be more enviromentally friendly, and this is the case between Bush and Kerry. The Bush administration is one of the worst in terms of enviroment. In the second debate he said the air had become cleaner since he took office, which is a joke and I am sure major enviormental groups like www.sierraclub.org would disagree. I think the enviroment is a bigger deal then people think. I associate enviromental problems with health problems (asthma, lung cancer, etc.) Of course the government is not all to blame, we do things ourselves everyday that harm our Earth. GWB is not helping at all though.... |

If either party wishes to make inroads on the enviromental problem, then they need to start listening to the people who have been most concerned about the enviroment for the longest, the Americn Indian. Big money, such as oil companies, automobile manufacturers, and industry, all do major lobbying when it comes to enviromental issues, and politicians play to that big money, no matter what party they are with.  |
