We've been friends for five long years
It seemed like i've known you for a year
But every time i spend time with you
i discover more of what lies within you
before, you make me rhymes
now it's my turn to write
all i can say is…
what a sweet-gentle guy you've been to me
i never imagined how we came to be
thanks to those who opened my eyes
to let this guy open my heart
this is a blessing i will try to keep
for now and eternity
