Transforming into someone else,
Everything’s rearranging; nothing seems the same.
We promised we’d stay the same.
What has happened to all of us?
Our faces show the aging,
Our eyes just can’t hide the pain,
When did we all change?
High School has come and gone
Our friends have changed along the way.
We’ve done the same, we rearranged.
We found interests of our own
We see ourselves in the future,
Big careers, families and problems all our own
No more late nights, talking on the phone.
What will happen when we grow old?
Will we look back and regret anything we’ve done?
What the future holds for us we can never foretell,
We bring upon us our own fate.
