Another year at its end
As darkness upon the earth now ascends
Remembering the souls that have passed to the Summerland
As the leaves lose their green
Life continues for the evergreen
Carrying torches dancing all about
To the spirits we communicate and shout
Visions of times afore
Collect within
As the spirits around once again soar
Summer is at its end
Time for the winter to begin
Reflections of the passing year
Chanting away all underlying fears
Bring in anew
With a feast and brew
Festivities with dance
Torches surround
Feeling the spirit forces all around
Celebration of life and its great wonder
Enhanced energies fill the night
No fear, no fright
Just great splendor
Of life and its glory
Sitting about the hearth
Telling stories of life’s rebirth
Candles are aflame
Time to rid of all your shame
Fear not this night
For it’s a time that should be filled with great delight
Treat others well as well as the earth
And all Her beauties
As the New Year begins
Tonight the veil is Oh so thin
What are you waiting for?
It’s time to celebrate and go about your way
For its Samhain or Halloween, as some of you might say
Enjoy the eve, enjoy the night
Let it be a sacred time for you and yours
With great joy, happiness and delight
Let your eve be filled with glee
