Hullo, a friend of mine asked me to post this on USM to see what you guys think, so....
"The Folly of Submission"
On lonely roads when I was young, I stood before a sycamore, Whose quiet love began to pour, About the stars and moon and sun.
But stranger now the valleys set, To covet that which we forget, We've given blessing to our fears, And perished in our Master's tears.
The everlasting loveliness, That wrapped its mane aroun' my breast, This work, this love desired rest, No further would it ever press.
The leaves have withered on the bough, That were at once like Heaven's glow, but now, We've given blessing to our fears, And perished in our Master's tears.
