Well, I've been losing hair in certain places on my head for about 6 months now. It's been bothering, so I finally pestered her enough for her to make me a doctor's appointment.
They think it's possibly a thyroid problem, so just as they were about to take my blood, the tornado sirons went off (we had a few (or maybe just one) tornados today) so we all had to wait in the hallway. lol it was kind of awkward waiting there. It was like (well I'm kinda used to tornado warnings living where I live) "If I don't die, I still get my blood drawn." Anyway, I came to a realization though. These people, I think they were foreign, but it was a woman with a little girl and a baby boy. The little girl asked what a tornado was, and the woman told her that it was a very bad wind, a very dangerous wind. That's when I realized, "Hey, people actually die from these things." I'd always just thought of them as little building destroyers and excuses not to go to school. I dunno. I guess I'm glad I came to that realiziation, but I got worried for the first time during a tornado. Not for myself, but for that little girl and all the other children in the hospital.
Anyway...
Well, I got it drawn, and some reason, my blood never ceases to amaze me. I don't mean that in a dark way, either. Normally, my blood is a dark red/maroon color, but today when they drew it, it looked dark purple. I was thinking "Aww, where's the pretty red?" Sorry, I have a strange fascination with the color red.
