I walk alone in this world.
caught in streets of black and grey
And it seems the flowers are fading
In all my greed I snatch from distant stars
With only the wind to comfort me
And the branches of trees to hold me
crying,crying...tears peirce my skin
The screams never end and
the sky never parts. give me light
My eyes are eclipsed to love
I can see anything besides emotion
Kiss me....love me. Give me wings to fly
Under the moon so softly whispers
Such beauty in the city lights
No words by my tongue can use to describe
and no thought that holds its sway
Worship the bright ball of fire that you call sun
And pay tribute to the loving moon that smiles
Embrace the dark...
Trap the light...
For all my mornings and nights are haunting
and really quite dead and over
