I was wondering if anyone here at USM has ever study Abroad? The reason I am asking is because I am going to study abroad at Oxford in England this summer for 3 weeks with my school taking history classes from June 5-June 25. I am so excited but I am not sure what to expect. I talked to a friend who went last year and she said it was awesome and that although you don't get a lot of personal time you get a lot of experience seeing different sites and learning new things. Plus it will look great on my ressume. So what do you think about studying abroad? Do you think it's something fun and a good learning experience? Thanks for any opinons peace and love Regina

Studying overseas would be such an amazing experience...providing so much more all-round opportunity for education academically AND socially. I'd honestly LEAP at the opportunity to study overseas if I could. Peace,

Date: 10/16/2004 2:15:00 PM  From Authorid: 58809    Go for it. I plan to study abroad, under Oxford, during my sophomore year in college. Then I plan to go to Bonn, Germany and Madrid, Spain. I hear its a GREAT learning experience. It's when we travel and are introduced to new places, new people, essentially, new cultures, that we expand our horizons, outlook on life, and our mind...
