I wrote this for my sister when she was having my first nephew and later recorded in in a studio with a frind of mine in guitar... but I was too shy to give it to her, so I never did. But I did write the poem in a card for them. Anywho, enjoy ladies, and may you all deliver happy healthy babies when your time comes.
Little face,
darling little face,
staring up at me.
You are all I see.
Little fingers curling round my hands,
I never knew I'd understand,
this feeling inside of me.
I always wished for a love of mine,
I never knew it could be this divine,
But now that you're here, never shed a tear,
and know that Mommy will be here.
Little face,
Little eyes and nose and ears,
this is what I've waited for,
all those years...
Little darling mine,
Little one so divine...
