BIGGEST BREACH OF CONTRACT AWARD--------In 1991, Kim Basinger pulled out of the movie Boxing Helena four weeks before the starting of filming, a move that resulted in her bankruptcy in 1993, when a jury ordered her to pay $8.1 million to movie's producer for breach of contract. A court of appeals subsequently threw out that ruling. In a subsequent compromise, Basinger paid an undisclosed amount to the producer.
