It's something in it's diet most likely. Try changing foods. (Slowly of course).. |

LOL. I'm sorry, but thats funny! I've had a dog with the same gas problem. It sounds like it might be the food the dog is eating. I don't know about the hiccups.. |

If you are feeding him any kind of table food that makes them gassy because there stomachs can't handle it very well. Hugs&Cookies |

I agree with Becky. Most likely it is a diet issue. What are you feeding your dog if you don't mind me asking? |

well, I'm guilty of spoiling my puppy...He eats a lot of table scraps. We do that with all of our dogs and they aren't gassy like him, maybe it's just his breed? He's a large dog and all of our other dogs are little dogs. He eats dog food...but also other left overs that we have. I know it's bad to do that, but it's hard to resist sometimes. |

goldens are more apt to develop food sensitivities than some other breeds... his breed could be playing a role. Try cutting out the scraps for a week or so and see what happens |

I have 3 dogs and they are all gassy, its gross, they can actually clear out a room it stinks so bad. The worst is when you can hear it and sometimes when they fart they looks at their bums like what was that then move to somewhere else. One of my dogs is only 4 months and he reaks too. Now of them get table scraps...Id really hate to smell those ones, but i think they have stuff for dogs who are gassy. Now sure what its called tho. |

Its most likely his diet, cut down on the scraps(exactly what kind of scraps? Some can kill a dog) and also if you're feeding him crap dog food that can cause alot of problems. NEVER get any dog food thats ingredients have "meat by-product" very nasty and very bad for dogs. |

My parents coon/beagle was gassy and potent :P too. Talk to your vet to discuss a different diet that will relieve your poor little gasious(sp)? companion. Good luck! ~frobbins~ |
