This is a song Willie Nelson recorded no too terribly long ago that was written by R.Crowell . Michael added another verse at the end which I just realized while sitting here listening to one of the CD's he recorded . I hope you like what you see because my son was a very talented and gifted soul and I am sorry it has taken me until now to realize that.

What do you do with the sands of time
When they carve out lines around your eyes
I can close my fists up good and tight
But I can’t hold back the sands of time
What do you do with a memory
That just hangs around and stares at me
I can tear that frame down off the wall
But it won’t erase the things I saw
Night and day
Night and day
You remain
You remain
What do you do with old regrets
There’s a box full underneath the bed
Just close enough not to forget
But what do you do with old regrets
There’s old house key in a kitchen drawer
To the door I can’t unlock no more
Sometimes I hold that key real tight
But what do you do after goodbye
Night and day
Night and day
You remain
You remain

Here I am , I wanna catch the wind .
If we can't take it back let's do it all again .
Until I can turn back time I can't be your friend .
Missing that time that should not have known the end .
'Burned your picture but I see you in my mind .
Easy to find when I blink my eyes .
Tears fall hard for what was left behind .
But I still hold you in that place and time .
Night and day
Night and day
You remain
You remain
