Hi, Cosmic Freak I think that technology has changed me. Twenty years ago, I worked out of doors..Climbing, carrying, hammering, hauling, lifting..Our crew consisted of seven people who all contributed to the operation. These days, the crew has been reduced to four people and I feel like some sort of gnome, sitting behind my arsenal of computers and having to do calisthenics to keep from stiffening-up. On my days-off, my idea of relaxation is sitting and watching clouds go by..hehe..Well, not exactly "that" extreme, but you get my drift. Good topic. Write on... |

cars are linked with being overwieght. supermarkets mean we dont have to trade or hunt for food. technology has a direct impact on our lives. but i do agree that some things havent really changed in us apart from the way we do it, like your good example of story telling. whether its around a camp fire or overthe internet, its still the same thing, although perhaps somewhat improved. |

I think that technology had completely changed us. Education, for example, a whole college degree can be obtained online. How about the use of the internet for research papers and such instead of having to sift through book after book at the public library. |
