"Last" night....... kronk, the magic pumpkin

The tenth game of pool..I was drunk, but still cool.

But my opponent, he was getting hot.

I called the eight ball and sunk it, then I told him to "lump it"

and he called me a "merry-be-got."


"That's a hard thing to say," as I staggered his way

"and for sure, you'll find no proof of that."

*I said it and it's so..As for you, you'd best go,

'fore I break your head open,* he spat.


Well, blame it on John Barleycorn.

My reflexes were way too slow.

He swung the cue, fast as a snake.

(((KA-BONK>) and down I go.


The room turned topsy-turvy.

My whole world filled-up with stars.

With my last conscious thought I vowed:

"This is it...for me and bars."


Strange noises..growls and grumbles-

Lord..I felt like I'd been shot.

When I woke-up, hours later,

in an empty parking lot.


A gang of ghouls were arguing,

about six feet from where I lay.

They were casting lots for something,

but what it was, I couldn't say.


"It's time to go," I said and

went to push-up off of the ground.

'Twas then that I spotted my arms and legs,

cut-off and scattered-round.


The wolf-man rolled seven...Dracula...eleven...Phantom, ended-up with a three.

I couldn't figure their system, 'cause my fingers were missin'

But...I know they all got somethin'...off ME!!!!!
