Date: 10/13/2004 8:38:00 PM  From Authorid: 51194    when my daughter was born 3 years ago they wanted to put this in my daughters neck and I said no. so she don't have one now. But they wanted to. It is kinda like some day the anti christ is going to come and who ever follows him he try to get them to get a marking in there wrist and it will the marking of 666 the davil. I don't agree with this. at all.
Date: 10/13/2004 8:46:00 PM  From Authorid: 15228    I don't know, I think it is a good idea, but you aren't going to get many people past the mark of the beast thing..For me it would be a good idea since I'm allergic to novacain and have seizures, so if they find me passed out somewhere, they'd know what medication to give me or not to give me.
Date: 10/13/2004 9:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 15675    its a good idea in theory but yeah i'm a lil uncomfy having a chip in me! But like Kelly said it could have good uses...I guess I'd get it if I had any life threatening dealys but thankfully I dont!
Date: 10/14/2004 12:14:00 AM  From Authorid: 42945    no way Jose'......hugs
Date: 10/14/2004 10:08:00 AM  From Authorid: 62876    I have always thought what a good idea it would be to have some type of chip implanted on your child somewhere to track them down, if they are abducted by someone....HipChik
Date: 10/14/2004 10:54:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53836    Well, I can't seem to get past the ick factor...I mean, if you have bullet fragments, bolts, or a steel plate, you are like a barrometer...and those examples don't carry electronic capabilities...I keep picturing a lightening storm zapping bugged bystanders and like the domino effect the electric currents would spread from one implant to the next and we all fall down
Date: 10/16/2004 3:56:00 AM  From Authorid: 62793    um...last i checked, this was just an urban legend.
Date: 10/16/2004 11:22:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 53836    UMMMM, if this was on MSNBC then it's more than just an urban legend. Beside, I've read that several weathy people have already received a Verichip type device that is like a credit/identity card and the only way they can get into exclusive clubs...so why is it so hard to believe that the medical field thinks this might be a new way of keeping up with vital stats, allergies and medical histories so that patients can be treated faster and more efficiently. Geesh, sound's like I'm for it when I'm not.
