There are shampoos out there that protect your hair from iron deposits. Just look on the bottle, they're not special brand. We have well water and when I had highlights, I had to use the special shampoo to prevent them from turning orange. Heh. - ![]() |

Yes, try Sallys, you don't have to have a lisence, I used to go there monthy when I dyed my hair blue. Is your hair blonde? Maybe trying that new Brilliant Blonde Shampoo and Conditioner will help? ![]() |

Get a blue shampoo. They have them at hair salons, and I there is a line of products by (I think) John Frieda that you can get at the drugstore, the Sheer Blonde line. Just wash your hair with it, leave it in a few minutes, then rinse it out. You are probably getting a mineral deposit from your water that is turning your hair brassy, and blue shampoo is just the stuff to fix it. However, don't use it more than once a week or two! Your hair could turn bluish if you use it too much ![]() |
