I've been told by many that if you put a little bit of toothpaste on it.....the white kind of toothpaste NOT the gel kind.....that it will dry it out. I use it at night time every now and then..and usually in the morning it isn't as bad. |

First of all start with your basics, keep your face clean, wash it a few times a day, or at least every night before bed. Second, it could be a hormone fluctuation in your body, I got more breakouts in my twentys than teens. And another thing to try is aloe vera plant. Sometimes you see the big leaves or plants in the store, buy one and take a section about the length of your palm and split it in two rub each half on each side of your face to cover the whole face with it. It takes longer but does help a lot, although it does feel gooey till it dries. |

This is an AWESOME remedy that really works! What you do is soak a washcloth under hot water, wring it out, then hold it to the spot (using just enough pressure to hold it to your face, but not pushing hard) for 10 minutes. Do NOT squeeze the zit, because that can make them get huge and spread. Do this twice a day ideally, and you will see results by the next day. I notice a difference after doing this only one time. It also takes away the pain if it is one of those under the skin type ones. Plus it's free! |

Well, I tried the toothpaste thing and it never really worked for me. I had my homecomming dance last weekend and the night before I was trying to get rid of a fat zit. My mom gave me some toner to put all over my face and that worked great. I guess it all depends on your skin type. Is yours a little oily or more dry? ~*Mandy*~ |

I know that you are going to think that this is a crazy idea, but it is a tried and true method. Make sure that you face is clean and then take alittle PREPARATION H and rub in on the pimple and repeat if it dries in as long as you are awake and right before going to bed, put more on it and you can also put it all over your face and the pimple will be gone by the morning or it will be until no one will notice it. This works wonders and as long as it is a clean tube, it is very clean and fine to use it on your face. You can always wash your face with baking soda, just use as hotter water as you can stand and rinse your face and then make a paste with the baking soda and then scrub your face good with it and then rinse it off with COLD water and then put the preparation h all over your face just as you would lotion and you will see the great results when morning comes. Much love and prayers to you... |

I actually got preparation H when I had bug bites, cuz I thought it was lanacane. Now, I know it'll come into use for something. And my skin is different from day to day. Mostly, it's a little bit oily.. and others it's dry. And I will give all of these a shot, these things drive me crazy lol.. thanks everyone!!! |

Honey, I really don't think anything will do a whole lot of good until you can get to a dermatologist. You might try watching the fried foods, though. |

Another thing about the food causing zits; I have asked my doctor if there really are any foods that can give you acne, and he said no, BUT if you have an allergy to a certain food, it can make you as an individual break out. Everytime I eat poptarts I get zits. So you may want to watch out for that. Foods that most commonly cause acne (if they have an allergy, like I explained) are high in sugar or starch. |

I have tried toothpaste, hot water, and they work. Can you put some rubbing alcohol on them? |
