i will vote for kerry,... not necessarily because i like him that much, but more out of fear for what this administration will do to us poor, older and middle class citizens in the next 4 years if they get back in. right now, dubbya is on his best behavior (rolls eyes) but if that dangerous mind is allowed another term, then we all better start worrying what he will di with nothing left to lose. budh is very dangerous and i hate that some people will have to be SHOWN that... scary! |

Well, I don't really think that who speaks for the president really matters. What I think matters are the presidents values, opinions, reactions to events, and empathies. |

Every President and candidate for President has people who write their speeches. Everyone has the right to their opinion. Everyone has a right to vote for whomever they want. I just see not enough facts but simply bashing coming from one side. "Bush is evil" "Bush looks like a chimpanzee" "Bush is Hitler" There's also a lot of misconstrued and distorted "facts" if you can even call them that. If a person is a reflection of their candidate then that's not saying much. People are going to vote for the candidate who most closely shares their ideals and who they think has their best interests in mind. Since everyone is at a different point in their life and has had different life experiences their choice of candidate is going to vary. I just wish that people would cut out the bashing and stick to the issues. I just don't see the satisfaction people get from calling either Bush or Kerry names. It's kind of like a little kid who cusses when no one is around just because they can. |

maybe I should've written..."thinks" for him, instead of speaks for him. Gail, thanks for the extra effort you took and I hope you heal soon |

And my Ducky comes flying in amidst a storm of controversy..Hiya, SpaceCase!!! I'm so happy to read you again, daughter. Today I am feeling sooooo apolitical, but since you asked....."I want a leader who can use all the resources at their disposal to get the job done." Good grief..I'm so wishie-washie that I disgust myself...*wink*..I am genuinely glad you're back, though.. Write on.... |

hi Stacie!!! good to see you back hun!! I dont mind a bit of political talk now and then..we just had our elections over here for Prime Minister of Australia...John Howard got back in, he is nicknamed "Bonsai" little "Bush"...I for one am not happy that he got back in, but it certainly doesnt offend me that some of my friends helped to get him back in...thats Democracy...if I was over in the states, I would want someone who can speak his own mind without wavering, but we'd all be naive to think that this does actually happen wouldnt you say!!! hugs |

Ahhh, no one could offend me when it comes to politics..everyone has an opinion, it's just fun to argue and try to score points. Granted I may not be the best at it, but it's still fun to try. I remember the old days before the internet and all you could do is shout at the tv..that wasn't any fun. |

Totally right on Kelly...and we should care that much about our country. We learn from each other to see through another's eyes. Zema, Kronk Daddy...always good to see you...and Base, I only said he looked like a chimpanzee...you know, with his pursed lips and big ears, I couldn't help it...he forgoed that expression during this debate. I am a writer, I'm gonna use discriptions when necessary... I always enjoy your angle too, but you seem to deny any and all factual substance unless it favors Bush. |
