Okay, I'm known to wear a lot of black clothings and just because people wear black clothing doesn't mean that they're worshiping the devil or that it's anything bad. I don't worship the devil and never would I ever. To me, Gothic is not a religion and I don't see how someone would think that it could be a religion. |

People wear clothing like that because maybe that's the style that they like to wear or thats how they express their feelings. I get a lot of weird looks when people see me dressed in a black shirt, black bonage pants with chains, and what not....but that's who I am and that's how I like to dress. |

I think that gothic is just a style and a way for people to exress themselves and if they like it, so be it. |

Heh, this could go the other way around also. If I saw some person wearing all bright clothes with lots of makeup or whatever, I could think of it as a style or maybe that person is worshiping a freaky clown god or something...heheh I kid, I kid. It's not a religion...it's a style. To me that is. |

I've never heard of a gothic skater before. I've heard of gothics and skaters but not one put together. There two different things. :P I could be wrong though...*shrugs* Just never seen a gothic person skate before. |

I think its just a style. I don't believe that it is a religious thing at all. The way you dress has nothing to do with your beliefs. For halloween my husband and I are having a huge party and we are being gothic king and queen pirates. The costumes are soooo cool. I'm not gothic at all but I can't wait till the party now. |

It goes either way, but I think these days its more of a style. Just because you wear all black doesnt make a person evil, its just clothes. People label people to often and its just a misjudgment on who you really are. |

I rember I was for awhile trying out styles and it just so happened I got labbeled as a goth in the process I wore punk braclets and black alot that was how I got labbled as it by other people. I was just trying out different things trying to give myself a new identiy. while I was technicly not a goth I did find out some things about it though. goth is form of expression it is style not a religion it dose not necerily mean your gonna be drinking blood and screaming satan rules just because you are a goth. gothic people are not always rebelius some are as straight as a post in fact it is about being different just like punks are the diference being punks are about enjoying life and living life for fun in your own indervideral way goths be more nagative about about being different they are not always depressed they just perfer the darker side to life. wearing black dose not make you an evil person some preppies i know are more evil than any goth I know in fact. I do not labble myself as anything now I hate being labbled in fact because goth did not suit me at all it just was somthing that happened although i was never complettly there I can tell youn this beign one dose nto amke you evil in anyway. although I do not hate goth I do shudder when i think back on it because i rember being labbled as something that was me ins ome ways but in other ways not and I hated it I never want to be labbled AGINE! egnore these girly girls that say it is evil it is like saying all ghetto people are into drugs or live in povety or all preps always stay outa trobble |

Honestly it's just labels...Satanists can dress like everyone else and to be fair (though I don't support their religion) their not really 'evil'. 'Gothic' is not a religion its a label of someone who wears darker styled and colored clothing and enjoys some of the darker things in life (I mean music and arts and poetry type stuff not murdering kitties LOL!) Sorry sounds like those people are HIGHLY misinformed...wear what you want...wearing something won't make you evil |

Contrary to belief, 'Gothic' is not a religion, and it does NOT mean you worship the devil. I myself wear black, geez, it's my favourite colour, and yet I don't even believe in the devil. Goth isn't even a style, in my eyes. I believe Goth, is a state of mind. How you look at things, and even then, it's spread pretty thin. It was never a culture, a religion, or a clan that worships the devil. I myself am called Gothic (my Alias is just a favourite oxymoron of mine, not saying I am) just because I wear dark things. I naturally prefer dark things, I don't like reading 'Happily ever after', and romance stories like girls. I like reading about death, there is always so much for feeling to it. Gah, some people now-a-days.... |

They're very wrong, its nothing bad, you don't go "down there" thats really very ignorant to believe so. The TRUE Gothic peroid was totally different from how "goths" now dress, however. |
