Ah! It's that song again!

We have all had a song that is REALLY irritating stuck in our head so here is all you ever wanted to know about the worthy subject of "Getting song's stuck in your head.".

According to research in Cincinnati University 98% of us have had a song stuck in our head to an annoying degree. The tunes are usually short and sweet (*cough cough*) and repeating and this triggers our brain to subconciously repeat the song without us realising what we've created! Musicians, women and compulsive people are particulary vulnerable to this disease which is also known as "Theresadangsongstuckinmyheaditis". One poor, poor person claims to have had the same video-game tune stuck in his head since 1986....almost 18 years now! 63% of people said they've been able to get the song out of their head by singing the song/s to others, turning on the radio, reading aloud or in my case I try and remember the lyrics for one whole song of a song which is hard to remember.

6 of the worst offenders are.... ~It's a Small World after all! (You can't say you didn't expect that one to turn up on this list!) ~The Lion sleeps tonight. ~Don't worry, Be happy. ~Macarena ~Gilligan's Island Theme Song ~Y.M.C.A
