As taia meditated on her day, Lana was playing on the ground with her son clay, she had eyes only for him since her husband had been killed in a raid, her joy her life was now playing in front of her, her beloved son who would never be able to talk to her. Clay would never be able to talk to her or anyone else, but she knew it must be for a reason, “its all part of some plan were involved in” she whispered to her son, clay just looked up at her and smiled and continued playing with his little wooden toys, as his mother bent her head and let the hot play of tears fall across her cheeks.
From the shadows of the trees surrounding the clearing someone watched the activity of the people, very few would be able to ever detect his presence for he was heavily shielded. He wanted to watch and learn these people, especially the one that was in the woods today, he wanted to see how much of threat she really was to him.
Taias eyes opened and her brow drew together, it was almost as if she could sense something. But no it had gone. Sighing a bit in frustration she rose fluidly to her feet and walked over to her bed, putting back on her clothes, along with some light Armour this time, grabbing her sword and headed out of her tent to the practice grounds. She stood along with the other warriors and practiced the movements, even though she knew them by heart, there was comfort in routine. She practiced until her muscles started to protest, then continued on until they screamed in pain, she threw her sword at a tree and stalked off letting it swing back and forth a bit with the force of the throw. A few of the other warriors that were left looked down at the ground and from outside her tent Lana shook her head a bit. Such anger and frustration she has, it will ether be helpful or the end of her, taias sister thought silently to herself.
Taia stalked quietly all the way to the naturally heated spring and pool of water. Sitting with her knees drawn upward to her chin she looked out across the pool of steaming water, the mist curling around the surface. “Goddess help me in my quest, help me see what I need to see, to know what I need to” she whispered to the mist. The wind started to blow around her, ruffling her hair and swirling the mist around itself into a picture, a face, whose face? She did not know, a man, the face struck a cord somewhere deep in her heart, it was a face of strength, of beauty and of dark power, yet she did not fear it she was more drawn to it than anyone else she had ever seen then as quickly as it appeared it was gone, and she was left with a hollow feeling in her stomach. Shaking her head to clear it a bit, taia stood up to the protest of her muscles and took off her clothes, leaving them in a pile at her feet and dove into the hot steaming water of the spring.
