I was watching Seinfield the other day and there was a guy that had missed being in the olympics because he overslept. It was a really funny epiosode. And it got me thinking about important events people have slept through. I don't think I've really overslept through anything important...but what about yall?

Date: 10/5/2004 8:50:00 AM  From Authorid: 53427    Its funny you should post this today.. This morning my husband decides that he's gonna get up early for work and he had the alarm set for 5:30 AM. So after it went off, I got up and reset it for 6:15, so I could wake my son up for school. Well being that I was half asleep, I forgot to pull the little button over after I'd set the time. And my husband never did get up either, he went back asleep too. We woke up at 7am on our own. I ended up just letting my son play hooky from school today because I knew I couldn't get all of us ready in time to drive him there without being late. Anyway, this isn't a hugely important event, but my son sure was happy to wake up and realize mom was letting him play hooky today
