Now if anyone has any problems with this story read the name of the website. Look at how long I have been here. If this was a debate it would be there. If this was a discussion it would be there. I do not want to hear what you know from television nor any supposed expertise you have in the matter. Sadly enough I have actually gone through microbiolgy and have gone through the classes required to be a chef knowing what nutrients are in what and how they effect you. If your a "doctor" more power to you in life but until you do an unbiased study about this subject and give me the information do not spout to me what you have learned from a text book or sadly TV. (Once again I did not this was not discussion but if you have credible information im all for it ![]() ![]() |

Kronk try other things that are acidic first before the tums heh. Also ask your doctor about enzymes for the stomach that aid digestion. That will actually fix the reflux. Better then buying some chalky tabs every week when you know your going to eat ![]() ![]() |

Everything has to be in balance. Thanks for the reminder that you may take calcium in various ways but you need other vitamins and minerals too. This also goes for other nutrients like iron too. Some people take mega doses of different vitamins and live to regret it. I take 2 Tums for calcium, 1 1000mg B12, and 2 Childrens Centrum per day on orders from a doctor and a nutritionist because I have had bariactric surgery. I will do this for the rest of my life because I can not absorb nutrients like I used too. ![]() |

I will check them out in a bit but deffeninetly check them with water. All things vitamin or headache medicine should always be checked for actually being soluble. They would stop selling centrum if people knew that basically. The FDA doesn't care one bit till one to many cases of someone commiting suicide hits the local newspaper. Though it is funny how what happens (This national database they are working on) is ate up by the people who watch TV like its a solution (When there should not be one in the first place and It should not at all effect people going to JAIL for it). This database will be attacked because all it is is the supposed possitive clinical trial information but they still do not have to tell you that 50 out of 70 of the people they paid 20 dollars to take said drug turned purple heh. Nor will they. Opps.. Rant.... Anyway make sure it dissolves. Otherwise ask for something that does ![]() ![]() |

even tho a lot of calcium causes harm, you can't deny we need it..or else we wouldn't be told about what causes osteoporosis--NOT ENOUGH MILK OR CALCIUM! Too much of anything can hurt you, even water. You need to have a balance of everything. So even if you don't like milk or calcium, your body needs it. Do research on the good things too, instead of only the bad things about calcium. ![]() |

I do.. Store bought milk is worse then Trans fat and causes scaring of your arteries because the way its prepared. Not only do you lose living enzymes with Pastuerization but Homgenization (The shaking of the molecules so the cream sticks with the milk so it doesn't go bad on store shelves at higher temperatures to save on electricity) causes scaring of your arteries just like trans fats which is the real reason why cholesterol clogs them. (You could have low or high cholesterol and be fine. Remember its all about the money every fad food product out there or medicine to lower anything). Store bought Milk itself doesn't even have sufficient magneseum (Because you need it) to use the vitamin D and Calcium which become useless without it. The magical number for percent of daily values is bogus (They came up with it out of thin air with no actual research) and its different anyway for every single person (Another thing they do not mention) and the research actually that is needed isn't the research that calcium is good for you because it is needed in almost every bodily fuction. Why the FDA took all of coral calcium's profits because it made people better being one of the best sources of calcium there is. The research needed is how much not to take where it starts causing problems and a better look at least into how much should be tooken minimum for every type of person (Woman,Man, Tall, Short, Big, Thin,Race, etc.). Basically anything can be bad for you in larger quatities then should be in your body (Especially the poisons they put in all foods at supermarkets. Why I shop all natural organic products. ) The reason why they put calcium in simple things like Tums is to trick you to buy it and make you worse off anyway. You could not possibly absorb the calcium. It needs an acidic environment, Vitamin D, and magnesium. ![]() |

Very interesting.....have you ever read that book "what they don't want you to know" (something like that) about all the drugs people are taking that are actually hurting people instead of helping them? Actually Im going to be putting that book up most likely (I read tons of books including alot of the books he mentions to read in that book. Kevin being a speed reading mega memory guru has read so many books that its staggering) U.S.C. 17 freedom of use allows me such rights (Just like the people who are publishing medical journals online that the publishers are crying to give them 6 months on at least so they can make blood money because lets face it if the information can save lives 6 months will be basically murdering those people) As long as its educational. I can post it past copyrights. ![]() |
