Yes we are going to be right in the path this time....it sucks! We are waiting for the order to evacuate right now which I am told will be coming very soon. I dont know what exactly to expect this time I suppose it depends on how strong this one gets and what path it chooses to take up the coast. We are in eastern orange county though and got hit indirectly with both Charley and Frances. The damage was bad though but nothing compared to what a drect hit could do. So I will be praying for everyone here and hope that we all make it through safely  |

hi Becca , i live in port charlotte right where hurricane Charlie came.. i live right on the water where it came in and it was about as strong as i need to see , Jeannie is our 4th time boarding up in 6 weeks so i know what your going through. we havent even begun to restore any of the damages yet . stay safe , wooden nickel  |

HI EVERYONE AND THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR RESPONSES AND PRAYERS! WOODEN NICKEL AND JESSICA GOD BLESS YOU! I HAVE BEEN PRAYING FOR YOU GUYS SINCE THIS STARTED WITH CHARLEY. I DON'T KNOW HOW MUCH MORE FLORIDA CAN TAKE. THE FINANCIAL STRAIN ALONE IS UNBELIEVABLE. I HAVE SPENT ALL TOTALED AT HOME DEPOT AND LOWES ABOUT $900.00 IN 4 WEEKS. I AM NOT WEALTHY, I LIVE FROM PAYCHECK TO PAYCHECK LIKE MOST EVERYONE ELSE. DIDN'T PAY THE MORTGAGE FOR LAST MONTH YET SO AS TO RESTOCK FOOD FOR ME AND MY PETS. SO I'M ALSO PRAYING THAT THE GOOSE WILL LAY A GOLDEN EGG IN THE FRONT YARD ALSO! LOLOL! GOOD LUCK AND GOD BLESS! HOPE EVERYONE COMES OUT OF THIS SAFE AND WITH POWER! ALSO PRAY FOR THE ANIMALS. I'm praying for the safety of the people of Florida. I can not believe all these hurricanes making landfall in such a short time. I know the remains of Frances spawned 17 comfirmed tornadoes with another 25 possible in the D.C. area and that is nothing compared to what you folks in Florida are going through each time one of these things strikes.
