older? sheesh-- 31 isn't that bad. My dad just had double knee surgery, and he's 60! anyhow, having it fixed so that you can heal is better than having to limp around and worry about falling on your face, don't you think? It sounds like you're barely mobile as it is, so what have you got to lose?  |

I would get the surgery as soon as you can. You may have relearn to walk on it, but if you don't get the surgery, you may not be able to walk on it at all. Good luck to you!  |

Yeah, I ripped the tendon that is in the middle of you hill. And it took three months for a cast and than another tow months to getback up and running literaly. But hey I don't have anymore pain from the expierience. Peace Out..  |
