So, my friend *Jay* that I wrote about in my last post, how I told him last night how I feel and he said *You're like my sister, Rachael. I love you...but not that way*, was sitting with me in my garage today. My ex had come by and brought Chinese food and after he left, just me and *Jay* were sitting in there, talking and playing video games and I was eating my fortune cookie and *jay* was sitting in an armchair and I was sitting directly next to him on a couch and I looked down at my fortune and it said *Stop searching forever. Happiness is just next to you.* I swear, I nearly screamed and ripped it up, I was so upset. I didn't show it to him, but I showed it to his brother and my friend Cas later. They both thought it was really weird and creepy. But I refuse to get my hopes up this time. What's done is done. He sees me like his sister and that's how it always will be...I just think that if it were meant to get my hopes up,it should have been his cookie and not mine, lol.
