bruising and swelling is quite common especially with a hard extraction of a back tooth....trust me i know all too well lol  |

putting ice on it will take the swelling down...and the bruising won't last too long |

This happened to me when I had my wisdom teeth removed. It went all purple under my eyes like someone had punched me lol... but it slowly faded away. I hope the pain goes away for you soon, it's not very nice is it *big hugs* Kokoro |
