As paws batted at the wire mesh of a cage
Mother knows best, sometimes that’s true
I watched a fat Siamese ignore me
Mom said this is the cat for you
A stray Russian blue with a nuclear powered meow
Conquered by love in a guise of grey fur
Dedicated to Merlin, born approximately December 1983, came into my life December 1984 from the Humane Society Animal Shelter of Tacoma, WA and crossed the Rainbow Bridge on August 11, 2001. I hope furbaby that you are waiting for me when its my turn to cross over that same bridge.
