This temple was built in the 13th century by the Alii priest Pa'ao. It is sacred to "Ku-ka-lil-muku", the Hawaiian God of War. Also known as "Ku", "The Divider of Lands", he was the ultimate warrior. The fire-mouth "Ku" demanded thousands of human sacrifices to satisfy his craving for blood. The ruins of this temple are sacred to the ruthless and powerful"forces of war".
