False Love-Gothic Angel

There's no where left to turn, the city my soul dwelled in is destroyed
Lost and lonely, wandering dirty roads, scratched and carved signs
Feet cramped and worn, this pilgrimage has left me sore and tired
Coughing up memories mixed with blood, faint stars within my eyes
Pages from books, littered in my mind, pointless quotes make me go on
Poignant truths, meaningful lies, all that's left is to rot and burn
Fragrant melodies seep into my nose, rhythm has once again found my presence
Curling my fingers into my skin, make the pain go away, nullify it
Don't ask me questions you know that kill, for I've died long ago
This journey to salvation takes so long, all I want is some redemption
Remorse grows like fungus, teasing me to take in it's poisonous dream
Tainted tears run down my face, tracing the roads to my heart
Dripping with fear, I walk alone, hoping I'm ripped apart tonight
Melancholy engulfs the sky, the stars are broken, shattered tears
Trickling wounds and scars, implanting pieces of my heart into nothing
I've journeyed far, and far too long, so this cannot be a lie
Precise concentration was put into this pilgrimage, the risk I took
Congeal what you have of me, you'll never find it all
For I am journeying on the roads of my tears, made for you to enjoy
My destination holds close, yet it's still so far away than ever
I'm touching it, feeling it, yet I just don't have it, not anymore
Leaving disappointment to comfort my despair, more tears fall
Creating roads that I still walk, haunting my own pale, silenced face
Reflections in my eyes, of homicides and suicides, yet nothing materialistic
Clouding pride, there's nothing left, I'll never find it
I'm just alone, walking the paths of my tears, trying to find my home, my heart
Which has long since been ripped out, and left for nothing
