Tears streaming

When I saw the tears stream down your face,
I knew in that instant that I had made another mistake.

I never wanted to make you cry, and I don’t understand
Why? Why haven’t you said goodbye?

And sitting her alone, writing you this poem,
I wish that I could take that chance and let you in to my heart
To let you see my hopes and dreams.

I love you so much, and I hope and pray,
That maybe some day you’ll give me a second chance.

For so long I have wished on stars that I would find someone to share my thoughts with, and now that I have you I’ve realized that dreams do come true.

I hope I never loose you, because you mean the world to me and I need you there when I can’t see, when I feel my life slipping through the cracks, I know you’ll take hold of me and show me again that I am strong enough to go on.
