Go to your Control Panel, click on "Keyboards" or "System" (you'll have to find the Device Manager tab / button if you access it this way) and make sure that your system is recognizing the keyboard at all. If not, you can troubleshoot it through provided options. -  |

If the computer recognizes it, it's most likely not the port. So it's probably a software issue. Troubleshoot it and see where you go from there. -  |

if you havent try a reboot that never hurts, unless keyboard is spillproof it might be time for a new one  |
