It was spiritual intervention that brought protection for something either from the natural or super natural realm.. if it were me, I would take it as a sign that something protected the inside of the home from something on the outside trying to get in.. but I sense spiritual activities that coincide with this.. I would have to look up and say "thanks!! ".. (-: ![]() |

Sur5r, that is the first thing that crossed my mind. We live in the country, and it is pretty safe, but anything could happen. What could it be from the supernatural realm? I don't know much about that...like a bad spirit??...HipChik ![]() |

The smoke detectors in my house go off all the time by themselves, i wont be cooking or anything. Maintenance has replaced them many times and it keeps happening.. the first time they replaced them "someone" had yanked the cord out of the ceiling completely disabling it. They still go off all the time. ![]() |
Date: 9/6/2004 10:25:00 PM From Authorid: 62793 Ya know...i wouldn't worry too much about it....either it was just a strange coincidence, someone was looking out for you, or someone/something was playing a practical joke on you. In any of those cases...you lost a little sleep and that's it.... |

That is freaky...I had an incident where a few weeks ago I was talking with my sister-in-law on the phone and we were mentioning my deceased mother, but not in a bad way. However, the TV went on all by itself even with the Direct TV on and that was turned off. I thought my husband set the TV timer. He checked and said no, that in no way should the TV have turned itself on. My mother did not like my sister-in-law at all. This never happened before, nor since. ![]() |

Date: 6/18/2005 6:50:00 PM From Authorid: 63162 it may be a sign, from your father in law, that in the future something may happen dealing with a fire, or something else big, at that exact time. but you'll probally not know till it happens. |
Date: 6/22/2005 5:56:00 AM From Authorid: 62089 that's an irrational assumption. how would her dead father in law know that something was going to happen in the future at that same time of day? ghosts are souls of people that are forced to wander in the earth realm for whatever reason. they aren't like spirits that give people divination powers, and they're not God (all knowing and all powerful). |
