"History repeats itself" pt7 ~Lilliana~ (Sorry it took so long)

England 1878:

It had been two years since Victoria left Barney on that fateful day at the dock. All she ever thought about was the love that she lost and how she would soon be marrying Daniel. Not by choice mind you, but ever since Barney left she became a numb, hollow shell. She did not want to hear her parent's complaining and dissaproval of her behavior as she repeatedly denied Daniel. Finally she gave up and just said yes. Her love was lost and so was her heart. Victoria knew that Daniel would have her body, but only Barney would have her heart and she made sure Daniel knew that too. The amount of despise she held for Daniel and her parents was only rivaled by the amount of love she had for her one and only. Victoria picked up the pen and started to write into her diary:

"Tomorrow I get married, but not by choice. My parent's have decided that Daniel is the only man good enough for me, even though they know I absolutely despise him. Its because of his money and title. How I long to be with Barney right now in Ireland. I wonder what he is doing. Is he looking over the green hills into the ocean thinking of me as I think of him. The only comfort I have in my life is the fact that I will be with him again. Whether I'm married or not, I'll be with Barney. Tomorrow I give my body away to the one man who I promised I would never be with. We'll see how long that lasts. Goodbye for now diary I will see you soon".

Buffalo 2004:

Veronica shut the book. She was at her home alone reading the diary. She thought about how the cross found its way onto brians neck and inevitably back to Veronica. Brian said he might give her the cross but Veronica declined the offer. Before he left he hugged her, and she hugged back. The weird thing was that they weren't in control of their body and the memories started to flood her head again, as did Brian's memories come back as well. She started to think that maybe she and Brian were Victoria and Barney in a past life. Her head just fell apon the pillow and she soon drifted off into a deep slumber.
