Good-bye city life with your traffic and noise.
So long to your street gangs of bad girls and boys.
Good-bye to the gun shots that ring out in the night
and my back yard neighbors with their violent fights.

Good-bye to the dumpsters that often catch fire
and the parking lot cars with their many slashed tires.
Can't say that I'll miss all your drug deals and ho's
or the poverty caused by the factorys you've closed.

I won't miss the robberies, the murders and rapes
or the fear you instill with those prison escapes.
Good-bye to the river you polluted with waiste
and your chemical tap water with retched, foul taste.

So sad you became a commercialist breed
with your 1001 pizza shops you thought we'ld all need.
To bad you tore down those historical landmarks
to build more fast food, video stores and mini marts.

Adios to immagrants you bought our way
to take over our jobs for a much lower pay.
Thanks a lot city people for all the times
you walked away silent, ignoring these crimes.

Once last time, Good-bye city. I bid you farewell.
Take good care, be aware that your city is hell.
