Hey all!! :) Today was my 3rd day of high school and already I have a project due in 2 weeks! ACK!!! Anywayz, :) I was wondering if anyone knew of any websites that tells about Mexican desserts. Like what kind of desserts are eaten in Mexico, how they're made, ect. Pretty much just anything about desserts in Mexico. Thanks!! :)

Date: 8/24/2004 6:01:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    I make this "dessert" called Bunuelos (sp?) and its those small tortillas cut into 4ths then deep fryed then rolled in cinnamon sugar. They are like chips with cinnamon sugar on them....oh man they are good! LOL

Date: 8/24/2004 7:17:00 PM  From Authorid: 42792    pastel de tres leches is a good one or flan. You can look them both up by typing the name in google followed by the word recipe. My husband is from Mexico and these are popular desserts I will try to find you a link with some history about it.

Date: 8/24/2004 7:59:00 PM  From Authorid: 48812    flan de la casa *shudders* i had to make enough of that for 30 people. It's an authentic mexican/spanish dessert. If you're able, go to the store and buy a buncha boxes of Flan Jell-o. Yes, they *do* make it. Hahahaha. But if you can't do that, then here's a good link. http://myweb.cableone.net/howle/page/flan.htm Good luck...hahahaha..... :-p
