I had my nights and days mixed up and I decided to play my favorite video game in my front room. I eventually watched my dad and mom go to work early in the morning. Maybe 4-5 A.M. (I live with other people like 4 more people who was home) I had heard noises once in awhile but not enough for me to be afraid about becuz of cats outside. (A lot of outside cats.) Well my doorbell isn't very great so I heard the doorbell... and I was thinkin wait... was that the doorbell? So I look out the window at the steps and there was no one there and then the door made a huge noise and I got on the floor then I crawled to this huge window we have and there was a white van in the driveway. I thought why is someone here this early and I was about to open the door but I know how people are so I backed away thinking it was someone for a company but at almost 6? After a few minutes I hear my screen door open and they start banging heavly on the big door (probably trying to break in.) I went in the other room thinking they'd go away so when I went back in the room I didn't hear noise so I crawled back in and looked out to see if the car was there. It wasn't in the driveway. So I peeked up a little more and saw a white van in the street and I heard more banging and ran to my grandma's room and told her that someone was tryin to break in and when she got up they were gone. I thought nothing of it because other people told me I "dreamt" all of this and woke up thinkin it was real. Not even a week later on the news there was a story that a lady was tellin and it turned out to be the same! Her ex- husband left with her kid late cuz he got off work late. She heard scratching and thought it was nothing. not even 30 minutes later someone knocked on her door and she looked out and saw no one. Thinking it was her ex-husband forgetting something she opened the lock and this guy came in. Eventually raped her and threw her down the stairs.. While he was stealing stuff outta her room she ran out the back and out the gate seeing a WHITE VAN across the street from her house. cuz It was late and there were no other cars around she happened to notice that one. So please this is not one of those "stupid" urban legends... This actually happened to me. Make it look that someone is home with you or put up a BEWARE DOG sign on door... Something. But still never open the door at night cuz I had an BURGULAR ALARM sign out and he still tried to break in. So please just be careful. Don't let this guy think he is the winner.
