Just one of the many reasons why I don't care for MCdonalds... It practically takes you a half hour to even get up to the cashier! LOL Usually I'll just go with the drive thru, you don't have to deal with people... |

Well what do you expect at 11pm from a poor old lady who should be retired and sitting at home relaxing enjoying herself but instead has to work a menial job making 5 bucks an hour. Instead of being angry you should feel sorry for the woman. That could be you one day! By the time we retire there may be no social security. It makes me mad to hear people complain about poor service from the elderly. |

I can see where it can go a little overboard, like what you cited above. But please be considerate. I work at a fast food restaraunt, and I know from expirience, you have to do more than one thing at once. For instance, you might be taking orders but then you might also have to be coordinating what goes with what order etc. Although what you went through does kind of seem ridiculous. |

MC Bacon I am 25. Trust me there will be nothing for us. Not to mention the retiring age keeps going up. I worked in fast food too. I feel sorry for the elderly who HAVE to work! |

I don't like McDonald's period. Even though I did apply to work there it's kind of a last resort. Which I doubt they'll even call me, so I'm gonna have to bug them. But yes, McDonalds is slow for being a fast food place. |

I work at Burger King and the corporate standard is to have the customers order taken and given out in under a minute and a half. Most of the time, we're able to fulfill this unless it's during lunch hour. The maximum waiting time we've ever had was 12 minutes for a line that snaked out the door, plus around the back wall and such. I feel bad for the lady though, I know what it's like to work underhanded and it's extremely frustrating. - |

I freaking hate it when McDonalds asks me if I would please park out in front to wait for my food . There is not a single person behind me and they ask me to go out of my way (not wait at the window ) . This does NOT make any sense . Does anyone know why fast food places started doing this ? It irritates me big time . Razzy aka |

When we had to pull our car to the front of Mcdonalds, a worker brought us out our food,so not really going out of our way in my opinion, having to get out and run in for it would be defeating the purpose of going through the drive through in the 1st place, then I could say we had to go out of our way I think they do this in case a few more cars roll in, then they are not stopped up by the waiting order. |

McDonald's sucks anyways. The animals they use to make their meat aren't treated well at all. I wouldn't eat there unless I just escaped from a concentration camp and was about ready to keel over - and we know I'm never going to wind up in a concentration camp, so, therefore, I will never, ever eat McDonalds in a million years. Besides, it's bad for your health! |

I don't see how this has to do with McDonalds cause this happens at other places as well. She was probably have a bad day or something. One time, we went to a Sharies Resturant and just ordered a couple slices of pie and we waited in our seats forever. They served the people behind us their meal first even though we were there first and it doesn't take that long to cut up a piece a pie. |

lol i'm not so bad with waits, The Micky d's i've been to have usually been pretty good and prompt, But my major issue with ANY fast food restaurant, is: ACCENTS OMG get someone who can speak a little bit more clearly please, it's hard enough to understand people through the little watchamacallit as it is, WITHOUT deciphering a dialect as well! |

It could have been the Grill's fault, maybe the food wasn't up yet. In that case she should have told the other family to move to the right, and then took your order. |
