I'm not sure if this has been posted or not but what is your favorite or funniest childhood memory?? I would just like to see what everybody says....

Mine is one time my sister was going to have xrays done and me and mom was with her. Me and mom had been fussing cuz she wouldn't let me go in the room with them. So mom walked me to the waiting room and turned around and followed sis and the xray guy into the room across from where i was sitting. Soooo when they went in mom turned the corner to walk in and as soon as she got turned that guy shut the door in her face!! Mom turned around and walked str8 in there and sit down beside me. I laughed so hard i was crying and mom was all mad at first cuz she didnt get to go either. It was so funny.

Ok guys, ur turn....tell all..lol BeeBop

Date: 8/23/2004 8:20:00 PM  From Authorid: 49889    lol-Well when I was 9 , we had one of those big trash cans you had to tilt to roll. Somehow, I talked my little brother to get on top of it and I would tilt it and roll it around. He got on top and I tilted it back and off we went down the street. Im not sure what happened-maybe I tripped over a rock..most likely I lost my grip-but I let the trash can fall, and when it hit the ground my brother was sent over the top and skidded a good 10 feet on the pavement (OUCH). At first I thought I killed him, but when I helped him up we both laughed until we literally couldnt. He still wont forgive me!
Date: 8/23/2004 8:51:00 PM  From Authorid: 51070    When I was a kid, I got the wonderful idea to make a tape of swear words. This was back when boom boxes were hip - and I could record my voice into mine. So anyway, my brother, my dad's ex-girlfriend's son, and I just sat in my room recording swear words. Just when I was letting a few bad ones fly, my dad walked in. We all got in deep trouble. I guess, though, that my dad showed the tape to my mom. They both listened to it and laughed their bums off, I guess. I still laugh whenever I talk about that, but I certainly didn't laugh when I had to stand in the corner!

Date: 8/23/2004 9:07:00 PM  From Authorid: 6860    Ooh! I did kinda the same thing as Creepy. When I was about 6 or 7 I made a book of swear words for a friend of mine. Her mom found it and threw it out but I never got in trouble for it. Then when my bro and I were about 8 and 10 we made a rule that whenever mom or dad swore, we got to swear too. Last I knew, we were up to 14 words each, but I've used up my fair share lol.
Date: 8/23/2004 9:11:00 PM  From Authorid: 50434    Okay it was winter and me and my one sis were out sliding on hills. We were up at the water tower cause it was on a nice big hill, my sis went first. She was flying down the then all of a sudden she came to a complete stop then was launched like 5 feet in the air then plop fell to the ground. I was laughing so hard that I could barley run down the hill to see if she was okay, when I got to her she wasnt breathing and I was like OH No, but then she caught her breathe and she was okay, got the wind knocked out of her and then I laughed all the way home. It was something you just had to see....
Date: 8/23/2004 9:12:00 PM  From Authorid: 49091    Its not a childhood memory cause it happened over the summer, but mines almost just like yours LOL....mom was like heres a bag of candy (spice drops) and my mom was like here put these in a bowl or take them out of here. Dont u DARE open them in here, I dont want sugar all over. So my lil brother was like here, and tossed the bag to me, in the front room and I was like not right now brian n put em on the table behind me. Then he was like TAKE EM SARAH! n grabbed the bag n THREW it at me n I had my leg up on my chair, so it hit my knee n candy exploded ALLLL over the room!!! It was EVERYWHERE!! my mom was SOOOOOOOO mad!!! She sent my brother to his room and told me to vacume up the mess. But all I could do was laugh!! lmao, I lauged myself rigt off the computer chair and she was like *STOMPS* "ITS NOT FUNNY!" and I couldnt help but laugh. I cant member laughing so hard in my life...we are STILL finding candy, EVERYWHERE!

Date: 8/24/2004 12:06:00 PM  From Authorid: 62838    I have too many to count, childhood was the best thing in the whole world. I think one of my favourite memories is those of Mum or Dad reading my sister and I stories from our favourite books before bed. I would listen to the words and my mind would drift away into a world of imagination. I never grew out of this, these days I love to listen to spoken books on CD with my headphones before I go to bed, and I love to hear my husband read to me, lol. - Kokoro
Date: 8/24/2004 3:01:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 16373    That's cute Kokoro, lol. I wish my hubby would read to me like that ~BeeBop~
Date: 8/24/2004 9:23:00 PM  From Authorid: 19460    Last year my brother (PJ) came from Texas to stay with us awhile. My husband has this barrel rigged up in a tree with ropes and huge springs, that bull riders use to prcatice their bull riding. Well, PJ and I decided we would ride on it. PJ had done it alot, pretty much grew up on a barrel, but I had never tried it. So PJ, who only weighs about 100 lbs soaking wet, decides he would hold the barrel down so I could climb up on it. He was doing a good job, but I was on the barrel on my stomach, trying to throw one leg over, and I wiggled the wrong way and he turned loose of the barrel. I went catapulting through the air, did a back flip and landed on my back on the bare ground LOL The air was knocked out of me and while I was laying on the ground I heard my son open the back door and hollar in to my husband "Hey Dad come get Mom she just went WHOOMP!" LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL
Date: 8/24/2004 9:35:00 PM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 16373    Omg Froggy, thats sooooooo funny!! I'm glad you are ok though. LoLz, thanks for sharing that. *BeeBop*
Date: 8/27/2004 3:31:00 PM  From Authorid: 23101    Favorite or Funniest Childhood memory?? Hmmm.. My brother and I dressed up in the garland stuff that wraps around the Christmas Trees, and we jumped from bed to bed in the bedroom. It was so funny, we were jumping sooo much our faces were red, and we were all sweaty, and laughing sooooo hard.. It was a blast! *huge hugs*
