No I don't think that would be worse than dying. I don't think it would be very fun either. ~~ |

probably depends on the person but most people who have near death experiences feel like they have a second chance and a new outlook and attitude on life |

Like Base..Most people that have had near death experiences feel like they have been given a second chance..A chance to LIVE their lives better. I think the only thing worse than dying is to watch someone you love more than anything in the world dying..that to me is worse than dying myself. |

Base is right. What's worse than death? Living a life where death seems like the best option. Or, complete paralysis. Having complete, rational thought but being able to do absolutely nothing about it. - |

Or, how about trying to kill yourself and failing. How miserable would you feel then? - |

Well, personally, I think being truely alone is worse than dying....It gives you a sense of helplessness, and everything. But all in all, if I thought the way most people do lol, yeah, I think believing you will die from that kind of thing, and then actually living is probably worse than dying. |

I agree with Lady Luck! It has to be worse watching your loved one dying. |

I tried killing myself and failed.. it's not fun. I would have died, but someone found me and I got to the hospital in time. Sigh.. |

In a way I agree. In some cases I'm sure people would rather die than to go on living. Like if you had someone attack you and harm you in a way that you wouldn't want anyone to know and you have to face people daily, knowing they know what happened to you. |

Living would still be my option. Murder has to be a horrible experience. I won't ever forget a friend who was murdered and the moments of life she lived will always haunt me, thinking of her suffering, and praying. I know she did. Life can overcome almost anything. Death is permanent and leaves behind so much loss and life not fulfilled. The murder of a family member or friend never goes away, the loss is never forgotten, the life is thought of in "what ifs", what if she would have survived? Her death though had a huge impact on many, and the loss will always be there. |

to be forgotten by your family and friends like you were nothing....to kill someone in a car accident or something and feeling guilty for the rest of your life.... if no one cared about you.... to see someone you love love someone else.... so yeah, there are a lot of things worse than death in my book |

To me, getting old is worse than dying. I know that sounds petty, but I can't help how I feel. Growing old is my worst fear. I just turned 30 and it really has me screwed up. I mean no offense to anyone who is 'up in age' so to speak, but yeah I think getting old is far worse than dying. |

Mind you those families in Africa watching everyone they love around them die, not to mention the other sufferings they must bear, I think that would be worse than dying. Watching them on tv is like watching a shell of a human being living souly because they are simply still alive. I could not imagine watching my children slowly die. |
