yeah, i know this is kind of a stupid post. I was wondering if you leave mayo out of the fridge overnight. Then the next morning you put it back in the fridge, is it still okay to use??

Date: 8/11/2004 6:14:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 30401    i didn't use it, I went to Long John's instead. My father-in-law had used it to make some tuna, and I was starving...but I'm really wierd about food being old. If food is anywhere close to it's expiration date I usually won't eat it. For some reason everytime my in laws use anything (like mayo or sour cream) they just leave it sitting out. it's kind of gross. Everyone else ate the tuna and no one got sick, but I'm glad I didn't chance it. Thanks for the comments.
Date: 8/11/2004 2:26:00 PM  From Authorid: 26363    Personally I would dump it. That's pretty dodgy. E.Coli can kill and as a bacteria it multiplies at an alarming rate.
