"Always".......kronk

Do you recall the rope swing and how we soared above the stream?

The launch, the arc, the apex..How I held you?...How you screamed?

The long free-fall..The entry and the crystal water's crush.

Sinking slowly together, our bodies close...Your eyes.."The Hush"

Tiny bubbles all around us..How they tickled..You tried to smile.

Your lips..My lips.."Here..Take my air. C'mon let's stay a while."

A moment more spent in embrace and we swam up towards the sky.

The atmosphere came rushing in..Quick gulps of air..Your cry....

I see that you remember me, my heart, my cherished friend.

We were made in the twilight-time and our world knows no end.

No matter where we wander, or how long we are apart,

Know that I am ever yours..Long ago, you won my heart.

"Keep it real"..:)

Date: 8/8/2004 3:36:00 PM  From Authorid: 42568    How sweet, Kronk. I do think it'd be wonderful to marry a poet. I'd rather receive a romantic poem from the heart than an expensive gift, any day.

Date: 8/17/2004 10:39:00 AM  From Authorid: 46320    I always wanted one of those swings that hung over the creek, but unfortunately ours creek was too shallow. But we did have a rope tied to the trees at the top of the hill, and swinging on it made you think you could fly! Be Good...
