I can't smell well and my ex roomate/still friend Patricia and I were talking about how we can't smell well but oddly some smells out of nowhere stick out, well we were in the pool of the apartment we were living in and I smelled Macaroni and Cheese being made, isn't that strange? I actually smelled it and she said no way, and then we actually got up out of the pool and went to go knock on the person's sliding glass window and ask if that's what they are cooking. Isn't that weird? And I never realized it had a smell until then  |

yes! My old shampoos. If I ever happen to go back to an old shampoo I can smell it in my hair and it brings back cetrain memories.. sounds funny but its tru! lol  |

There are no scents but there are some sounds that triggers memories. One a warm summer day if I here the humming of an airplane in the distance, I will get a lonesome feeling. It takes me back to when I was growing up and I would lie back and look up and watch the clouds, planes, and birds, etc. I would get such a peaceful feeling in those days. I realize that when I get that lonesome feeling now that I am relating to those times that are gone.

Chrome-mens cologne (almost called it purfume LOL) reminds me of my ex-bf. Hugo and Adidas (colognes) remind me of my bf. OMG! I just had a really good one, but I cant remember!! ARGHHH  |

I get all teary eyed when I smell doughnuts baking! My Grandma made homemade doughnuts for me almost every day the summer I stayed with her. Also, I bought some sunflower body wash and I use it for hand soap... it reminds me of the smell of Grandmas house. Jovan Musk reminds me of my 1st boyfriend.  |

My granma had a aroma on her, and i smell it once in awhile when im at home and all of a sudden it smells like her. She passed away in 97 when i was 9. I love smelling it because i think shes with me, because i have nothing that smells like that.  |

I REMEMBERED!!! i only had to walk to every room in the house to find it tho! LOL Its my brothers cologne!! I have really fond memories of every morning, walking down the hall, past lil bros room, then smelling it as I hit tommys room. When ever he puts it on I remember how it use to be with him. How rebelious he was and how he got himself into all this trouble :-( Not good memories. |

I have had this happen to me quite a few times. Usually with perfume or men's cologne even lotion. If you close your eyes it will take you right back to those days and the memories pop up in your mind. It's weird because if it is a sad memory you can actually feel the pain in your heart at the moment. ~Star Angel~  |

when I smell Tide detergent, I think of my ex, there's a certain smell I can't quite place that reminds me of my friend Jess who moved to japan, cigarettes used to remind me of my ex kyle, now they remind me of my ex- Jeff, the smell of certain cars reminds me of my friend Keisha, certain colognes remind me of my ex Kyle, Vanilla reminds me of 7th and 8th grade  |
