Okay guys, need your help ... Any ideas?? SunAngel

How are we all today? Well i hope! :)

Okay, basically i am in the process of planning my mum's 50th birthday party. And i REALLY want to make it special for her.

You see, she threw my dad a suprise 50th birthday last year and it was an absolute hit! Everyone had a great time, she went all out (she is great with that kind of stuff) and he had no idea until the moment he walked into the function room she had booked.

He had a fantastic time and loved the experience. And i want the same for my mum. Now i cant throw her a suprise party firstly because its too obvious and secondly because we have already started making the arrangments for her party.

But i would like to do a few things without her knowing that will be a suprise on the night.

Okay, now to my question ~ one thing my mum did for my dads birthday was that she got special wine labels printed up with a photo graph of my dad as a kid and it said Happy 50th Birthday (Dads Name), with the date he was born. They looked great and she put them on all the bottles of wine on each table at the party. It was something that people could keep if they liked or drink at the time ... and she also kept a couple that she has sitting in our bar at home.

I want to do something like that, something that i can have either sitting on the tables or around the function room that she can keep. But i am stumped as to what to do.

Does anyone have any suggestions? Or any other ideas they have seen at other parties or wedddings that maybe useful?
