I'm sorry that you are stuck in debt. Credit cards are not a good idea, they just encourage a person to spend when they don't have the cash available. Used carefully they can be ok but always pay off the WHOLE balance every month. |

I had a credit card once, and it took me a long time to pay it off from the interest they charge as well.. I have never owned one since and pay for all things with cash, or by using my debit card from my bank as I have to have that money available right now for that purchase. Good advice. I am glad to be out of that puddle of mud, Lol.. it was becoming a tar pit and hard to walk around in after a little while. Feels good to have clean feet again (-: |

I had two cards long ago. I cut them up! Took what seemed ages to pay them off. I never want one again. |

If you respect that card and what it can do, and are careful with them, they can be very useful for building up a good credit rating that will help you get better deals on cars, homes, etc. But you must be carfeul with them, and be sure not to over spend your means. I've got three main credit cards, have two paid off, and the other one has a rather low credit limit, and I like it just fine that way. Seems to me that the credit cards aren't your problem, but maybe your spending habits are... |
