I read a post earlier that said that the Admin's on this site are heroes I disagree entirely with that statement. If you look in the dictionary under heroes then the following appears:
** A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life: soldiers and nurses who were heroes in an unpopular war. **
** A person noted for special achievement in a particular field: the heroes of medicine. **
Now what I would say George and Ginger are, are visionaries. They saw a place that people could come together on the internet and be safe.
So, what are the other admins? well I think guardians, that is what keeps the place what it is.
A guardians is described as
** One that guards, watches over, or protects. **
** Law. One who is legally responsible for the care and management of the person or property of an incompetent or a minor. **
I think this describes the awesome responsibility these people have that keep this site running daily.
