I also admire my parents (except for my dad) and my two older sisters one inwhich comes on this site not as often as me tho... :)

So usm speak up who's your hero or who do you admire :) *hugs*

Date: 7/25/2004 7:31:00 AM  From Authorid: 23796    My Hero is actually the first guy I loved, he helped me out when I was down, a shoulder I coudl lean on, a witty sense of humor, and a just totally great person! He taught me to live & enjoy the life I have...even when it was filled with the abuse I was going through at the time. He helped me when no one else could. Still love'm to this day & hold him & his memory dear to my heart.
Date: 7/25/2004 7:37:00 AM  From Authorid: 37101    Joey Jordison for playing the drums the way he does. Les Claypool for playing bass the way he does. Cliff Burton for playing bass the way he did. James Hetfield for playing absolutely amazing rythym guitar while heading the greatest band of all time. Oh, and for writing the best lyrics ever written.... Other then that, I don't really have an authentic hero. No reason for it. -
Date: 7/25/2004 7:40:00 AM  From Authorid: 22992    I don't necessarily believe in a hero or a role model.. sure there is someone you can admire but i dont like the idea of a role model. From the time you are young its pumped into your brain that you should be an independant individual with your own views and sets of ideas or morals... but on the contrary they tell you to have a role model and be like them in ways you think positive. I think it confuses and conrtadicts whats being taught in reality.. but anywho i really admire Frank Lloyd Wright, i dont want to be like him because i am not an architect... but i admire him and his artistic works

George Bush is a hero. The USA soldiers are heroes.

Date: 7/25/2004 8:02:00 AM  From Authorid: 62813    Jesus is the best role model to follow, although we will all fall short of him and his greatness !!! He was simple, a teacher, he asked for nothing and gave everything, what more can we aspire to ?

Date: 7/25/2004 8:16:00 AM  From Authorid: 17081    How did he do that, LSR? (If you don't mind me asking) Congratulations btw
Date: 7/25/2004 8:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 46527    He just kept on arriving at my door and taking me out (for a ride in his car). Then he'd suggest shopping (I would sit in the car while he shopped)...step by step we did more and more until I kicked myself in the butt and took over.
Date: 7/25/2004 8:23:00 AM  From Authorid: 17081    Thanks LSR

Date: 7/25/2004 9:49:00 AM  From Authorid: 26363    My Mom, she was an inspiration to everyone. Everybody adored her so much so that when we planned her funeral we had no idea how many people would show up! We ended up having to create an alternative reception as nearly 2000 people turned up! She is missed dearly but I can still hear her words of wisdom when I need it.
