Date: 7/24/2004 5:51:00 AM  From Authorid: 3835    Lol... these were cute. I went through this very small village of amish townsfolk, in Pennsylvania once, on my way to Hershey, PA.. it was a small town of population 19 amish people, and the name of their town was called, Inter Course, Pennsylvania.. *giggles* That is the truth, there is such a place.

Date: 7/24/2004 7:39:00 AM  From Authorid: 62476    On my way to state college, Pa, I saw a town called burnt cabins,PA. Great post.
Date: 7/24/2004 7:59:00 AM  From Authorid: 17081    Ive heard of Burnt Cabins, PA. There is a Mars, PA. Other PA cities: Slate Lick, Shinglehouse, Shoemakersville, Riddlesburg, Apollo
Date: 7/24/2004 8:07:00 AM  From Authorid: 3835    Another oddity is when one city is shared by two different states.. such as the city of Bristol. It is either in Tennessee on one side of the main street heading one direction, or you are in West Virginia on the other side of the main street heading the opposite direction. Could you imagine a different area code and zipcode for living in the same city as your neighbor, but paying long distance charges for the phone call, even when your neighbor is just right across the street ??
Date: 7/24/2004 8:18:00 AM  From Authorid: 57830    Ha, i liked Lick Fork!

Date: 7/28/2004 12:27:00 AM  ( From Author ) From Authorid: 11348    Thanks for your comments everyone. Here in Colorado we also have a town called No Name! Can you believe that? lol
Date: 7/4/2013 4:22:00 PM  From Authorid: 53427    There is a town I believe in New Mexico called Truth or Consequences. Back in the 50's or 60's, there was a gameshow by that name. And they made an offer they would film the show there if any town would change it's name to the gameshows name. And this little town in N.M. took them up on that.
