I am not a nurse, and I do wish I could be of some help...but I know I won't be of much. the headache part sounded almost like a migrane. maybe stress? I would definitly advise you to see your doctor again and voice all of your concerns to him and ask him to thouroughly check you out. I was like a hypochondriac (sp) for a while and I am sure I drove my doctor nuts with illnesses LOL but it is better to be safe than sorry. I hope it all works out for you. |

I think that you need to go see the doctor and have a complete physical and maybe some bloodwork done. I am not a nurse "yet" but I graduate in a month..and what you are experiencing sounds to me like its worth getting checked out. Even if it's nothing it's better to be safe than sorry. |

I seriously suggest that you go see a specialist if not the ER of a very good hospital (such as a research hosp. where they won't let you leave until they find out the problem) as soon as possible. Given your family history, the sooner you get up there, the better. I hope you get better soon!! *feel better hugs* |

oh my, yes-- see a doctor right away! A sudden onset of a headache like this is a symptom of may life-threatening conditions: meningitis, aneurysm...as the others have said, better safe than sorry. |

If the pain is so unbearable, I would go to the ER immediatly. I am no nurse, but I am a CNA so I have a little background (not much), but some medical training. As far as the Thyroid thing goes. You need to see your Doctor and have him/her check for a Thyroid Disease. That is very treatable, but with out treatment a Thyroid disease can be very dangerouse. They can do a simple Thyroid test through a blood draw. I would demand this test from your doctor, or if you go to the ER ask for one while you are there. Good luck hon! ~~~HummingBird |
