Do a web search...Type in the word Tattoo.I have 2 tattoo's A Unicorn in the clouds on my upper left chest, and a Tribal tattoo with a flower on my ankel.Some if you know a few Tattoo Parlors in your area they may have a web site. To where you can type in a word like Dragons... Faries... Flowers.....And come up with somthing you may like.. Or check out them personally to see their designs hanging up on the wall or in their books. Best of luck..Chinablue...  |

I also want one for my brothers friend that was killed. A cross with a rose on it. My brother has a good 6 inch+ tat on his back with a cross a leaf (I dont know if I can say what kinda, but lets just say its illegal) and he was gonna have color done and writing, but after my parents found out, they forbided him to every have another done. He also did it without permission, so they were really mad LOL. If he could have the leaf taken off, it'd be a very very wonderful tat. I want that one done :-) |

I would look around at designs and try to find something that you like and that you are sure that you will not regret later. Or, if you unsure still you can talk to the tattoo artists and alot of them can "pick your brain" about things that you're into or that mean something to you and can sometimes come up with an original design based on that. I personally got two fairy babies sitting on a tree branch with the older one holding the younger one to represent my two daughters. When my fiance and I have a child I plan to add a new fairy baby to the branch. Nothing that I will ever regret getting done and it means something to me.  |

Well when I get mine I am getting it on my lower back...I designed mine myself..dont have the picture anymore but what I want is three intertwining hearts. In each heart I am going to get my childrens full names and birthdates then underneath itll say three hearts one love or something like that  |

I don't think you should go to other people for tattoo advice. I think a tattoo is something that you should think long and about, itshoud be VERY special, and have MEANING to it, not just some random design you think is cute. I have had my tattoo design idea for almost a year. It is a bue dragon, with an aknh on her belly, a heart at the end of her tail, and rose vines on the side. Everything on that, down to the colors have meaning to me.  |

Well, I wasn't exactly hoping for someone to tell me right to a tee what to get, I was more looking for SUGGESTIONS as in like I dunno, think about your favourite XXwhateverXX and try to go from there, or something. I'm having trouble figuring out something with meaning...and I can't draw worth beans even if I could! lol. Getting suggestions is the same thing as doing a web search or looking through books.  |

If you get a tattoo, make sure its something you wont regret the next day. I just got a tattoo, and I love it, its something that means a lot to me, and I'm getting another in a couple weeks. My first tattoo (only one I have right now) is something that my best friend(B) and a friend of ours (J) drew. I saw it when J was finishing it and told him it would make an awesome tat, and a little more than a year later it is on my left leg. Where do you want to get the tattoo (on your body) that can have an effect on what you want to get. Usually tattoo artists have magazines and books for you to check out, make sure its something you really want though.  |
